Following the recent allegations on social media regarding my involvement in the booking of Performing Artists for a Xitsonga Music Festival in Giyani on December 01, 2018. I hereby issue this statement to clear the confusion that’s circulating regarding my involvement in the event. Beyond my responsibility as Programs Producer. I also serve as Chairman of the station’s music Committee. My responsibilities as the chairman of the MusicCommettee do not extend to the forementioned event or any other station events when booking artists for performances during music events at the radio station. It’s in my best interest and that of the public to encourage the social media user to public with the recorded material that’s allegedly in their possession so they can validate their claim.
